WHY GET TESTED?Screening for STDs is important, and allows you to take control of your own health.
Early medical intervention means you can protect yourself from future risks and maintain your sexual health.
There is no single test that screens for all STDs, so different types of samples may be needed to cover most likely problems.
Many STDs, such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, can be treated easily with antibiotics. Others , such as HPV and Herpes can be managed in a way that will decrease symptoms and reduce the risk of transmission.
