Dr Richard Dawood, MD, FRCR, DRCOG, DTM& H, FFTM RCPS (Glasg)
Richard is the medical director of the Fleet Street Clinic. He studied at UCH and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, and has himself travelled in more than 80 countries. He is the editor of Travellers' Health (OUP), a widely used reference handbook of travel medicine.
He is a founder member of the International Society of Travel Medicine, and lectures, writes and broadcasts frequently on travel health issues and gave evidence to the House of Lord's Select Committee on Air Travel and Health.
He is a columnist for the Daily Telegraph and for Condé Nast Traveler, New York.
